  3. September is like a new beginning every year for me. It is the start of school, the beginning of fall and is always my goal setting time of year. It is a busy month, but one of my favorites. Thanks for stopping by the Zippy Chix site, joining your FB group so that I can keep up with your blog!

  5. What a unique blog. It's fresh and different. I like it. September is many of the things you mentioned, as well as crisp apples, the sound of crunching leaves when you walk (if you listen, not too many leaves yet . . . just a few) and the glorious change of fall foliage. Have a great weekend.

  6. September is a time of waiting for the leaves to turn and for it to be okay to cook with pumpkin and order Pumpkin Spice Lattes. It is harvest time and a time of eating fresh ingredients and preparing warm soups. Locally, it is a time for beer festivals and my favorite Greek Festival. To me personally, it is memories of my grandmother and grandfather and the month before I married my handsome sweetheart.

  9. What a coincidence: we just made a homemade chocolate cake tonight! :) (although, that's an event that takes place every month!)
You summed up the month of September perfectly.

  10. I just left you a *note* on my own blog but we really should get together and share notes on all things Rehoboth. I grew up there. House on the edge of Henlopen Acres. In fact, I am posting a blog post about it tomorrow! Small, small world.

  11. Hi Kimberly, I'm visiting from the lady blogers Tea party. I've never really stopped to think about what Sept. means to me or any other month for that matter. A lot I'm sure when I think about it. Drop in and visit my blog at http://thoughtsof-faith.blogspot.com/

  12. My birthday is the 20th, so I've renamed it International You Can Stop Talking Like A Freaking Pirate Now Day.

And I didn't know about the ovarian cancer month. My sister was just diagnosed with every gynecological cancer imaginable; I don't care much for her, but I don't think anyone should have to go through that. I'm glad you avoided it.

  13. I'm a new reader; loved this post and your blog! Glad I found it...and as a native Delawarean, I loved the picture of the Rehoboth Boardwalk. We, being only an hour from there, will continue to visit the beach every weekend through October and then even a on nice winter days.

Anyway, love your picture too. I'll be back to read more!
